Most of the pictures on this site currently does not have an index or label to say who is in the pictures - so of course will not show up in searches. Hi, Great site. I don't imagine that this will be all that helpful, but Grandfather (who was born in Alvin) recently described a cemetery that he said was downtown, east across the railroad tracks at the north end of town. Does this fit with Bethel Cemetery- or with the Knights Family Plot? Thank you, Hello, Sounds like you might be looking for Nicholson Cemetery, also known as Indian Paint or Indian Point Cemetery. It is south of the Parish Cemetery in the Grape Creek area - a little ways off the road on private property. I also have listed about 20 names that is a combined list of the stones I had found at the cemetery, along with what the Genealogy society had listed for that cemetery. I have been looking for a cemetery down From Grape Creek Baptsit Church in Grape Creek, IL. I was told that this cemetery was about a good walk on private property. I also have been told there may be Indian burials there. I am looking for Blue surnames in Grape Creek. I saw you have Parish Cemetery. Thanks!
