August 2008 update: More information soon.
I have been looking for the grave of Rev. Robert W. Greene, who is buried in Fairview Cemetery, in Jasper, IN. Can you help me? I have seen the grave before some years ago but when I go there I have not been able to find it, and I know he is buried there. I was told recently to go to the CourtHouse in Jasper to the Records Department, they might be able to help me. Any help you could give me would be helpful. Thanks, and keep up the excellent work that you are doing! I just found out that my mother had a sister . I found it in the 1930 Census for Vigo County . I never knew any of my mother's family I just satrted finding some of them within the last couple of years. When my mother was little ( like 2 ro 3) herparents split up and went their serperate ways . I think when her parents went their seperate ways the children were put somewhere ,like a Foster home or something. My mother's name was Margaret Mary Steele ( Maiden Name ) and her sister's name is or was Ellen Gertrude Steele... My mother never knew her parents or that she had a sister . In the 1930 Census my mother was 2 years old ,(she was born July 16th,1927)and her sister was 5 month's old ( Ellen was born October 1929 ). My mother didn't know any of here family ,not even her parents. Their parents were Herschell Steele & Mildred Garrigus ( Steele)...My mother died Dec 3rd ,1986 not knowing anymore then she did when she was alive. I've tried to find any traces of my Aunt Ellen ,But I get as far as the 1930 Census and that's it . Please Help me. ( if you can )...Thank you & God bless The only clue found for this daughter is his obit and she was known as Mrs. J R Jackson from Indianapolis, Indiana during 1925. She is the adopted daughter of Frank Yates and his first unknown wife. I am wanting information on his second wife, Laura E. Ordner Nebeker Yates, still living when he died in 1925 in Florida. HAVE YOU FOUND A THEODORE D. PATRONE BORN 1888 AND DIED IN 1932 IN ANY OF YOUR CEMETERIES? |
