Description: Nathan Howard came to this area with his wife Nancy in 1824. When Nathan passed away in 1834, he wished to be buried on his homestead instead of the nearby Lamb Cemetery. His wife Nancy is said to also be buried next to him, but she either never had a stone, or it was destroyed long ago.
In 1957, The Commercial-News had an article about Lamb Cemetery and also included a picture of Nathan Howards headstone (scanned on this page), but when I visited in January 2012, all that could be found at that location is a footstone.
If anyone has additional information, or possible location of this stone today (heard the stone may have been moved?) - Please let me know.
Pictures: I took pictures of everything found in January 2012. Took 18 pictures, and also included a scan of the Commercial-News article with a picture of the stone from 1957. Also took 1 video linked below in January 2012.
Video: Below is a video taken January 2012. Please note: This video is NOT "professional" or to be used to read stones or anything like that.... this is simple to show a quick "overview" of the plot. For those who may never be able to visit this cemetery in person, this video is here to show a quick "overview" of the area.
