Cemetery Name: Ingersoll Cemetery Cemetery Name note: Many places I see this cemetery spelled Ingersol - with the sign at the cemetery spelled Ingersoll - not 100% sure of the correct spelling (but will start to use Ingersoll since that is what is on the sign at the cemetery) Location: Middle Fork Township, North of Potomac GPS Location: 40.34017 -87.81506 (link to Google Map) Description: Ingersoll Cemetery is not an easy cemetery to reach. Most of the stones in this cemetery are dated in the 1850's & 1860's. Pictures: I visited this cemetery in November 2006, and got pictures of all the stones I could find. I was so excited to find stones for 2 sisters, 2 daughters, and 1 son of gr. gr. grandmother R. Moore. One could not be read, but am guessing who it was. Thanks so much!
