Subject: Ralph A. Patterson and Mary L. (Axton) Patterson
Are either of these two people located in the Georgetown Cemetery. Reported on Ancestry.com that Ralph is buried there but would like to see more information. Mary L. Axton was his wife, married in 1925 in Vermillion County, IN. Thanks. February 18, 2013 - 10:06

Great Job!!! I loved the pictures! I was looking for the grave markers for Blooms. Charles and Emma (Sanders) Bloom. I know some markers are unreadable and even more hard to read but Emma should have been buried in 1933 so I would figure this marker should be readable but I have went through all the pictures and found Saunders but no Blooms at all. Would you remember seeing any and/or how would I find out where in the cemetery they are? I have it shown this is where they are. March 07, 2012 - 22:45

Hello - I took a look at an older cemetery reading done at Georgetown Cemetery, and there are no Bloom listed. The local genealogical society ( illianaghs.org ) has a "master index" which does list 1 Bloom - Charles Bloom as being in Georgetown Cemetery, but has a "no marker" note next to his name. I also checked out Pape Mortuary Website: www.papemortuary.com That site is not always accurate, but does have information about Charles Bloom (cemetery - unknown) and Emma Bloom (Cemetery - Georgetn,IL?) - which usually means she died in the area, and they are not sure what cemetery they are located at. Those are all the resources I currently have. Sounds like they may be in Georgetown Cemetery, but not with a marker. I'm not sure who currently controls the cemetery records - I hope to at some point track the records down so I can have more information about people buried there without headstones... but that is nothing I have access to right now, and not sure where to start looking - other then maybe starting with Georgetown, IL city officials or something. Sorry I couldn't be of any more help then that. April 20, 2009 - 19:43
