Cemetery Name: Allen Family Plot

Location:  Ross Township, West of Alvin

Approximate GPS Location:  40.3080 -87.6197 (link to Google Map)

Description: I have not found this cemetery yet, and I believe it no longer exists. Instructions that I found are: Take west railroad street west out of Alvin about 1/2 mile to a T in the road. This was the of the town of Geneva which was plotted in 1839, and the cemetery was around this T - probable on the northeast corner of the T on top of the hill. PLEASE NOTE: As of October 2008, Google map still shows this T, but because of road work down in the past few years, this "T" is not there no more.... more of a "L" now, with the other road being moved to the east some-what.

Below are a couple of aerial maps - one from 1940, the other more recent. In the 1940 map, you can clearly see where a old railroad line was.
