Cemetery Name: Adams Family Plot Location: McKendree Township, East of Westville Approximate GPS Location: 40.03498 -87.54902 (link to Google Map) Description: I have not found this cemetery yet (if it still exists). Instructions to the cemetery that I found from 1980 is: "South of Union Corner - to cross roads, keep south on dead end road - behind first house on right side of road. Plot is in the center of an evergreen field owned by Zane Cole in 1980". At that time, it was also "read" with the following found: Adams, Barbara - d/o John & S. Adams - 1y.2m.14d - d. 8.2.1851 Using maps, 1940 aerial photos - I've came up with an approximate location of where I think this cemetery is - but I have not visited this location yet to see if I'm right. I knew zane cole, an elderly gent. with long white hair and
was always up for a game of chess. back in the 80s i covered
every inch of that ground and the stone that i seen was of
a little one prob. of the one you have listed above was the only
stone i have ever seen. its prob. still leaning on that tree back
in the pines..
