Video: Below is a quick overview video of Battershell Burials taken March 2012. Please note: These video's are NOT "professional" or to be used to read stones or anything like that.... these are simple to show a quick "overview" of the cemetery. For those who may never be able to visit this cemetery in person, these video's are here to show a quick "overview" of the area.

Hi,

I'm Tim Battershell. William is my Great,Great, Great Grandfather. I live in Champaign, il just south east of the burial site.
I have visited the graves. The site is in pretty bad shape. It's located in the middle of a corn, bean field about 200 yards north of the road. I know the folks who live west of the site. Ron suits. I've know Ron for many years.
I have also found more information below you may be interested in. You will see William's family tree highlighted

These pictures are wonderful, even if the site is in poor condition. My wife is the great great great granddaughter of William and Elizabeth. Thank for you sharing your time and efforts.

Hi,

Thank you so much for taking these pictures and the video. I am William and Elizabeth's great great great granddaughter. It makes me sad to see what poor condition the gravesites are in. I know very little about them (I just stumbled upon find a grave and found your link), but these pictures and video are a wonderful surprise. Thank you again!
